Iker Gaztambide Arrastia recorded an upset over No. 23 Kenta Miyoshi on the top court in the road match.
Gaztambide Arrastia (Pamplona, Spain / Jesuitas) pulled off the singles victory in three sets, winning 3-6, 6-4, 10-6.
"Iker showed his resilience and what Huskie men's tennis is all about," said head coach René Vidal.

Nikola Puntaric were ahead 5-4 at No. 1 when the match was suspended once Illinois claimed the point.
NIU will travel to UIC for its conference opener on Saturday, March 7 at 3 p.m.
