Women's Gymnastics | April 24
DeKALB, Ill. – Six members of the Northern Illinois University gymnastics team were named to the Mid-American Conference All-Academic Team, the league announced today.
Seniors
Jocelyn Harbeck (Frankfort, Ill. / Lincoln-Way East) and
Samantha Nickle (Yorktown, Va. / York) each earned their third consecutive honors.
Isabella Ross (Cary, N.C. / Green Level) and
Dawsyn Sallee (Versailles, Ky. / Woodford County High), both juniors, qualified for the second time. Ross held the highest GPA of the six NIU selects, earning a 3.945 GPA.
Sophomores
Audrey Brenner (Fond du Lac, Wis. / Fond du Lac) and
Drake White (Indianapolis, Ind. / Bishop Chatard) earned selections in their first year eligible.
To qualify for Academic All-MAC, members must have a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher and participate in 50 percent of contests in the 2026 season. Freshmen and first-year transfers are not eligible. In total, 63 MAC gymnasts qualified.
