NIU WRESTLING RECEIVES NATIONAL EXPOSURE

There may be 76 days between now and the Huskies' first dual of the 2011-12 season, but the Northern Illinois wrestling program is already getting national publicity among the nation's top wrestling websites. Sophomores Nick Smith and Rob Jillard were both ranked in the top 30 in their respective weight classes by WrestlingReport.com. Additionally, head coach Ryan Ludwig was recently interviewed by Andrew Hipps of InterMat wrestling. The transcript of that interview can be found here.
