Committees There are four committees charged with compiling Northern Illinois' Certification Self-Study, the Steering Committee and three subcommittees. Committees are composed of individuals representing all constituencies of NIU, including but not limited to faculty, staff, students, alumni, community members, student-athletes and athletic department staff.
The Steering Committee is the lead group in putting together the self-study and coordinating the work of the committees. The three subcommittees are:
