The Northern Illinois Intercollegiate Men's Tennis program will conduct its annual open try-out Wednesday September 7, 2011, beginning sharply at 2 p.m. on Varsity Tennis Courts, located north of Ralph Mackenzie Baseball Field.

This will be the only try-out opportunity of the year. The rain date will be on Thursday, September 8, 2011, also at 2 p.m. Tryouts are limited to current full-time NIU students.

Beginning Monday, August 22, 2011 all prospective attendees are required to pick up pre-registration materials from the Tennis office at the Convocation Center #224. At the time of pick, athletes will be required to fill out and turn in a completed information sheet.

All other forms, including an athletic physical (current within the 90-days of the tryout), aiver, and Try-out Clearance Form must be completed in that order to be eligible to try-out. All completed registration forms must be turned in to the compliance office by 5 p.m. Friday, September 2 in order to be able to participate in the tryout.

Tryouts will be allowed if the above procedures and timelines are not adhered to.

Players must supply their own equipment and dress accordingly. NIU will supply tennis balls.
