FREE THROWS
• Through four games, the NIU women's basketball team is fifth in the country in scoring with 94.3 points per game, trailing only Maryland (102), Michigan (95.8, Baylor (94.6) and Ohio State (94.5).
• After matching its season scoring average versus Chicago State, 94, NIU has scored at least 90 points in three of its first four games. The Huskies have not accomplished that feat since the start of the 1989-90 season.
• NIU tied its single record for three-point field goals against the Cougars, shooting 15-for-37 (.405) behind the arc.
• Six different Huskies are averaging 10-or-more in points per game with
Ally Lehman (21.5) and
Courtney Woods (20.0) both averaging 20.0 points per game.
• As of Nov. 25, Northern Illinois University is the only team in the country with two players averaging over 20.0 points per game.
• Despite the high averages by Lehman and Woods, the Huskies have had five Huskies reach double figures twice already in 2016-17.
• As a team, the Huskies are outscoring their foes on fast breaks, 30-13, and have held three of their four opponents scoreless. NIU outscored Western Illinois in the specialty category, 14-13, on Nov. 19.

Courtney Woods hot spot as of late as she's scored at least 20 points six times in her last 10 games, accomplishing the feat five times on the road.

Mikayla Voigt has opened the season a perfect 12-for-12 from the free throw line. She is one of 26 players nationally to hold a perfect clip.
• The Huskies are shooting 83 percent from the free throw line, a 26-percent improvement from last season at the charity stripe through four games. NIU has already attempted 104 free throws this season, a +21 margin from 2015-16.

Ally Lehman is ninth nationally in rebounds per game with a clip of 12.3, including an average of 5.0 offensive rebounds per game, also the ninth-best in the NCAA.
• The Nineveh, Ind., was two rebounds and one assist shy of a triple-double versus Chicago State as she finished the game with 15 points, eight rebounds and nine assists.
