• NIU has 64 wins over the last four seasons going back to the beginning of the 2013-14 campaign, tied for the second-best four-year stretch in program history.Â
• The current stretch includes last season's 21 victories, tied for second-most in program history, when NIU played in the postseason for just the fourth time in its history, participating in the Vegas 16. The current stretch also includes 15 wins in 2013-14 and 14 wins in 2014-15.Â
• The winningest four-year stretch in school history came between the 1989-90 and 1992-93 campaigns, when the Huskies won 68 games. NIU won 17 in 1989-90, a school-record 25 in 1990-91 (advancing to the NCAA Tournament), 11 in 1991-92 and 15 in 1992-93. Jim Molinari was the head coach for the first two seasons of that stretch and Brian Hammel guided the final two years of that run.Â
• NIU has had three other four-year periods in which the Huskies have won 64 games. NIU won 64 from 1969-70 to 1972-73, a run that included a then school-record 21 wins in 1971-72, a season in which the Huskies were ranked as high as No. 19 in the AP Poll.Â
• NIU also won 64 games between 1988-89 and 1991-92, a run that included the school-record 25 wins and NCAA Tournament appearance in 1990-91.Â
