DEKALB, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University wrestling team concludes its two-match homestand when the Huskies welcome SIUE to Chick Evans Field House Sunday.

"We've had a good week of training," said NIU head coach Ryan Ludwig. "It's going to be an exciting match with an in-state foe."

The Huskies (2-6, 0-2) enter Sunday's match looking to rebound from a 23-12 setback to Old Dominion last weekend in Victor E. Court.

Brit Wilson (Mexico, Mo./Mexico) continues to pace NIU, winning six of his last seven matches, including a dominating 11-4 victory over Old Dominion's Seldon Wright. Senior Alijah Jeffery improved to 4-2 in dual matches and 9-6 on the season with his 7-4 win over Kilian Cardinale.

Sunday's match begins at 1 p.m. and parking and admission is free.
