Women's Basketball | December 28

DeKALB, IL – Northern Illinois University Athletics announced on Tuesday schedule updates for both the men's and women's basketball programs, all related to COVID-19 concerns.
 
The NIU women's basketball game scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 29 at 1 p.m. against Akron has been postponed. The Huskies' next scheduled game is Saturday, Jan. 1 at Central Michigan at 12 p.m. CT.
 
The NIU men's basketball game against Ball State which was moved to 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 29 has been postponed. There is no make-up date set at this time. In addition, the men's basketball program has also postponed games at Akron on Jan. 1 and against Buffalo on Jan. 4 due to COVID-related issues within the program.
 
Tickets to the affected games will be honored at all rescheduled games or can be exchanged for alternate games either day of the game or in advance at the NIU Convocation Center box office.
