DEKALB, Ill. – A pair of home dates highlight the 2022 Northern Illinois University women's soccer team spring schedule, announced by new Huskie head coach Michael O'Neill on Thursday (March 31). NIU will be in action on five dates, beginning this Sunday, April 3. 

The Huskies will open their spring schedule with a neutral site contest against Loyola Chicago on Sunday, April 3, at Mercyhealth Sportscore Two in Rockford. Kickoff against the Ramblers is scheduled for 3 p.m. NIU will then travel to Milwaukee on Saturday, April 9, for a date with Marquette. 

On Friday night, April 15, the Huskies will make the first of their two home appearances at the NIU Soccer Complex this spring when they host Chicago State. Kickoff against the Cougars is scheduled for 7 p.m. 

NIU will host a pair of opponents on Saturday, April 23 as the Huskies play a pair of 50-minute contests. The day will start against Lewis University with a 1 p.m. kickoff, followed by a matchup against Wisconsin-Parkside at 2 p.m. 

The Huskies will conclude the spring season on Saturday, April 30, with a trip to Chicago to face DePaul.
