DeKALB, Ill. – The Northern Illinois University gymnastics program and head coach Nita Teague have announced the addition of Michael Regula as an assistant coach.
"NIU Gymnastics is pleased to announce that Michael Regula will be joining our coaching staff," said Teague. "Mike's experience developing high-level athletes at All Around Gymnastics will have an immediate impact on our program. We are excited to welcome Mike to our program."
Regula comes to NIU after serving as the president and head coach at All Around Gymnastics in nearby Bensenville, Ill, which he founded in 2013. Regula brings 20 years of gymnastics experience and holds multiple certifications with USA Gymnastics.
NIU's Red-Black dual will take place next Friday, Dec. 19 at 6 p.m.
