Cleveland, Ohio – Kiera O'Shea has been named to the Mid-American Conference first team on vault as announced by the MAC on Wednesday afternoon.

Kiera O'Shea, a junior from Norridge, Ill. has amassed seven vault victories and a beam victory this season.

O'Shea has earned a National Qualifying Score of 9.845 so far in 2025 to place her in first place in the MAC on both NQS and Average Score.

"We couldn't be prouder of Kiera's achievement," head coach Nita Teague said. "Being that consistent over the whole season is impressive and inspiring."

O'Shea won on vault for the first time in 2025 on Friday, Jan. 24 against Illinois State with a score of 9.725. That then sprung a streak of six straight meets where O'Shea won on vault up through the Huskies Sunday, Feb. 23 meet at WMU. O'Shea won that meet over WMU and Wisconsin-Whitewater with a score of 9.900, a season high and O'Shea's second-best score in her career.

In the Huskies final regular season MAC meet against CMU O'Shea posted a 9.850 on both vault and beam to earn her seventh and eighth event wins of 2025.

Last season the junior was named to the All-MAC Second Team in 2024 and followed that up by winning the vault at the 2024 MAC Championships as she tied the Huskies all-time record on the event with a 9.925.

O'Shea then clinched a spot in the 2024 NCAA Regionals and competed at the Fayetteville Regional in Arkansas.

The Huskies will compete at the MAC Championships in Mount Pleasant, Mich. on Saturday, March 22 as O'Shea will look to follow up last years vault title.
