DeKALB, Ill.—The Northern Illinois University men's and women's golf teams will be hosting a Tee Off Dinner on March 27, beginning at 5 p.m. at the Naperville Country Club (25W570 Chicago Ave).
Enjoy a meal, participate in the silent auction, and mingle with the NIU coaches and student-athletes.
The cost is $150 per person, or $125 for golf alumni, and includes a dinner buffet and beverages. All proceeds from this event go directly to the golf programs to support their needs for this upcoming season.
The NIU men's golf team has had two top-five finishes so far this season, taking fifth at the Badger Invitational in September and tying for third at the Lake Las Vegas Invitational to open the spring slate. Three different Huskies have been named MAC Golfer of the Week this season.
Craig Long earned the honor on Sept. 26 after winning the Badger Invitational with a 54-hole score of 11-under par 205, becoming the first NIU men's golfer to win an individual title since 2023. Redshirt-Freshman
Devin Swoyer was MAC Golfer of the Week on Oct. 17 following a t-5 finish at Purdue.
Conner McCall is the most recent MAC Golfer of the Week honoree after tying for sixth at Lake Las Vegas with a seven-under par 209.
The Huskies women's golf program has challenged itself against top competition all year, including hosting an invitational in the Bahamas this past fall, and has carried that momentum into the spring with strong results.
Mia Raines paced the team with a third-place finish at the GCU Invitational on February 25, helping NIU secure second place overall. Throughout the season, the Huskies have posted three top-five team finishes and two individual top-10 performances, reflecting a steady, competitive lineup. They now look ahead to the final stretch of the 2025–26 campaign with upcoming meets at Augusta, Lipscomb, and Purdue before closing the season at the MAC Championships in April.
