NFL DRAFT A WEEK AWAY

The NFL Draft is now a week away and the publicity for former NIU quarterback Chandler Harnish is picking up. Jeff Dickerson of ESPNChicago.com posted this story on the NFL hopeful yesterday in his Bears Report blog. Dennis Dillon of SI.com filed this excellent article on Harnish today. 

Another former Huskie with NFL aspirations, Scott Wedige, received some pub over the weekend. Dan Pompei of the Chicago Tribune, who has been breaking down the NFL Draft by position and previewed the centers on Sunday. Wedige was rated at No. 7 of the 14 centers listed and the last to receive a write up.
