Sondra D'Amore (Parys) has announced the 2024 schedule for the Northern Illinois University Huskies volleyball team, which includes a new format for conference play and a pair of home stands in the NIU Convocation Center.
The 2024 schedule features three games in the Convocation Center and nine home Mid-American Conference games for the Huskies.
"We learned a lot from last season and intentionally balanced the non-conference schedule with new and old opponents before turning to what we know will be a tough MAC schedule. We are thrilled to have two home stands in the Convocation Center this season and end the non-conference slate against a Big Ten opponent in Northwestern," said D'Amore.
Season tickets start at $30 in the general admission section. A Huskie Four-Pack is available at $90 and additional seats can be purchased for $22.50 per seat. Courtside seats on the south side of Victor E. Court are available for $180. All orders have a $5 handling fee. Tickets can be purchased

The Huskies take on Rhode Island (4-26 in 2023), Harvard (15-9 in 2023), and Stony Brook (17-14 in 2023) over the two-day tournament. It will be the first meeting for the Huskies and Crimson of Harvard. The games against Stony Brook and Rhode Island will be the second meetings in program history for the Huskies.
Ending the non-conference slate, the Huskies travel to Northwestern (15-15 in 2023) on Sept. 18 before hosting Northwestern in the Convocation Center on Sept. 20.
"I'm looking forward to season and seeing the growth from our returners and what competitive edge our six newcomers bring to the program. Victor E Court will be a tough place to play this fall." noted D'Amore.
Turning to Mid-American Conference play, the Huskies will hit the road on Sept. 27-28 as they travel to Toledo.
The Huskies will be inside Victor E. Court six times during the month of October, starting with four straight home MAC games as Akron (Oct. 3-4), Kent State (Oct. 10), and Ohio (Oct. 11).
