Women’s Basketball To Host Golf Scramble, Summer Camps

DeKALB, IL – The Northern Illinois University women's basketball program is hosting a number of summer events including its annual golf outing on Monday, June 22.
 
This year's Huskie Scramble will be hosted at Kishwaukee Country Club in DeKalb. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. with a 10 a.m. shotgun start. The cost is $150 for a single golfer and $550 for a foursome. Opportunities for sponsorship start at $75 for a student-athlete, $150 for a hole sponsorship and $500 for a pin flag sponsorship. NIU Women's Basketball is also hosting three camps this summer. The NIU WBB Kids Camp will take place June 29-July 2 for boys and girls entering 1st-8th grade. This camp is designed for beginner to intermediate campers with a focus on fundamentals. The registration fee is $175.
 
The Huskies are also hosting two Elite Camps on June 26 and August 1. These camps are designed for girls entering 9th-12th grade to train like a college player. The registration fee is $75.
