Representatives of Athletics Interest (see definition below; more commonly referred to as a "booster") receive annual e-mails reminding them of NCAA rules applicable to their connection with NIU Intercollegiate Athletics. Additionally, the Assistant Athletics Director/Compliance and Student Services speaks to representatives of athletics interest at select Huskie Athletics Support Fund events and at other events as determined by the Director of Athletics.

Note: Once an individual, independent agency, corporate entity, or other organization is identified as a representative of athletics interest, the person, independent agency, corporate entity, or other organization retains that identity indefinitely.
