-NIU scored 26 points in the paint during the first half, which surpassed its game total in the first meeting against Central Michigan. The Huskies totaled 44 points in the paint for the game.

-James Hughes recorded five blocked shots, equaling his season high, set twice previously (against Eastern Michigan on January 29, 2006 and San Jose State on December 29, 2005).

-Bryson McKenzie's nine points set a new career-high, eclipsing his previous best of eight set at Winthrop on February 18. He has set career highs for points in each of the past two games.

-Tonight marked the second consecutive game that NIU has had five players score in double figures.
