Women's Golf | October 26

PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas—Dakota Tallent (Las Vegas, Nevada/Bishop Gorman) led the Northern Illinois University Huskies women's golf team at the White Sands Bahamas Invitational, which finished action on Sunday, October 26.
 
The Huskies were the host school for the invitational, which began on October 24, and marked the final tournament of the fall season.

Claiming a top-6 finish, Tallent carded four birdies in total, including two of the last three holes. Tallent matched her season-low of 74 in the third round, ending two over par as she led the Huskies on the course for the first time this season.
 
Mia Raines (Galena, Ohio/Olentangy Berlin) carded just one birdie in her third rounds as she claimed a top-20 finish at the event. Emile Chile (Flower Mound, Texas/Flower Mound) was the final Huskie inside the top-25 as she carded six birdies over three rounds. Chile birdied the 13th hole, a par-5, in all three rounds.
 
Caroline Kent (Frisco, Texas/iUniversity Prep) had three birdies in the first two rounds, including on the sixth hole in both rounds. Alexa Ouellet (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) had one birdie to round out the Huskies. Eva Nijenhuis (Heiloo, Netherlands/OSG Willem Blaeu) competed as an individual at the tournament.
 
The Huskies will return to the course on January 25, 2026 as they compete at the 2026 UCF Challenge. Action is set to take place in Orlando, Florida.
