Northern Illinois University Athletics

Of the thousands of student athletes, coaches and administrators that have participated in intercollegiate athletics at Northern Illinois University since 1899, just 227 individuals, 18 teams and five families have been inducted into the NIU Athletics Hall of Fame in 35 induction classes since 1978. The Athletics Hall of Fame is located in the north lobby of the NIU Convocation Center and is open to the public during regular business hours and during Athletics events.
