Early Mid-Am and Northern Illinois Division I star. Force in paint. Finished career as (then) No. 2 career scorer in MAC women's history (1,273 points in three league seasons). Graduated as (then) No. 1 career scorer (1,810 points) and No. 1 career rebounder (1,003) in Huskie annals. Became program's first three-peat All-MAC cager (First-Team All-MAC in 1984-85, Second-Team All-MAC in 1983-84, and HM All-MAC in 1982-83) and first NIU woman with four-digit career totals in points and rebounds (second at NIU only to HOF classmate Allen Rayhorn). Authored at least 11 school records including career (1) points, (2) rebounds, (3) field goals (752), (4) FTs (306), (5) twin-digit scoring games (97), (6) double-figure rebound games (42), and (7) point-rebound "double doubles" (39). Led Northern Illinois in scoring (1982-83 & 1983-84), rebounding (1980-81, 1982-83 & 1984-85), FG pct. (1980-81), FT pct. (1982-83, 1983-84 & 1984-85), and steals (1984-85). Named team MVP and tri-captain, Northern Illinois Woman Athlete of Year, All-NIU Fastbreak Fest, MAC Player of Week, First-Team All-MAC, and All-MAC Tournament on 15-13 unit as senior. Ranked No. 5 in MAC scoring and No. 6 in loop boardwork (1984-85). Set MAC Tourney mark with 19 caroms vs. Central Michigan (March 3, 1985). Served as team captain as junior. Topped loop in FT pct. (NIU-record .779) as soph. Named MVP at Memphis State Lady Tiger Classic and hit career-high 34 points vs. McNeese State (1980-81). Added MVP honors at NIU Hoop Classic as frosh. National All-Lutheran all-star at Chicago Luther North High.
