The female No. 23 clone. First Northern Illinois WNBA performer. Played pro ball for Chicago Twisters (1995) in WBA, New England Blizzard (1996-99) and Chicago Condors (1998-99) in ABL, Charlotte Sting (2000), Phoenix Mercury (2001), Los Angeles Sparks (2001), and Orlando Miracle (2002) in WNBA, Chicago Blaze (2002) in NWBL, plus in Athens, Greece (1996). Won Silver Medal at U. S. Olympic Sports Festival (1991). Selected for U. S. Women's Junior National Team (1992) and Team U.S.A. at World University Games (1993). Led Huskies to 66-26 record and three NCAA berths. Tabbed First-Team USBWA All-America, First-Team Kodak District Four All-America, preseason Street & Smith's and Basketball Times All-America, Mid-Continent Conference Player of Year, First-Team All-Mid-Con, and All-Mid-Con Tourney on 24-6 quintet and unbeaten (18-0) loop regular-season champs as senior. Topped Mid-Con and ranked No. 16 nationally in scoring (22.0 ppg. in 1993-94). Scored career-high 35 points vs. nationally ranked Southern Cal (1993-94). Named Honorable Mention USBWA All-America, Kodak District Four All-America, preseason Street & Smith's All-America, and First-Team All-Mid-Con with 17.2 ppg. on 24-6 league titlist and NCAA entry as junior. Voted North Star Conference Newcomer of Year as soph. Two-time Huskie MVP. Rated as No. 2 prep prospect in nation behind Lisa Leslie. Named First-Team Parade All-America and unanimous All-State at Whitney Young (1989-90). Hit prep-best 73 points vs. Collins.
