Most prolific scorer in Northern Illinois cage history male or female with 2,500 career points. Self-proclaimed "gym rat" who made Top 25 all-time NCAA Division I point list. Reached double figures 117 times in 122 career games. Scored 20 or more points 69 times with 13 games in the 30s and one in the 40s. Finished No. 9 in NCAA scoring with school-record 853 points (24.4 ppg.) as senior. Graduated with 17 school marks and rates among Huskie career Top 10 in scoring, steals (250), and assists (274). Led team in scoring three times (17.9 ppg. as frosh, 19.6 ppg. as soph, and 24.4 ppg. as senior). Three-time All-North Star Conference pick and two-time Northern Illinois MVP. Started on school's first NCAA tourney entry and Hall of Fame quintet (26-5 in 1989-90). Named Kodak District IV All-America, American Women's Sports Federation All-America, First-Team All-National Women's Invitational Tournament, North Star Player of Year, First-Team All-NSC, plus Northern Lights Invitational MVP on 25-10 squad as senior. Won NSC scoring and FT percentage (.846) titles and burned No. 14 Washington for career-high 41 points in 82-75 win that lifted NIU into Top 20 (1990-91). Reached 1,000-point plateau with 31 vs. Valparaiso as soph (1987-88). Joined 2,000 Club with 25 points vs. Wright State (1990-91). Hit 17 points in debut vs. Minnesota (1986-87). Rehabbed from right knee ACL tear (1988-89). Played with Athletes in Action unit (1992-94) and overseas. Led state in scoring (34.3 ppg.) as Lake Zurich High consensus All-Stater (1985-86).
