Premier female golfer in Huskie history and school's first LPGA Tour player. Qualified for LPGA on first attempt (1994) and performed on LPGA tour (1994-96, 1998-99, and 2002-08). Bounced back and forth on LPGA and Futures circuits due to battle with sleep disorders (narcolepsy and cataplexy). Played in 18 LPGA events (2004) and 21 more (2005). Qualified for Women's British Open twice (2004-05). Tied for 10th at Pinewild Women's Championships for best LPGA finish?including second-round 67 (1995). Finished in Top Five money list on Kosaido Asian Tour three consecutive years (2001-03). Won medalist honors at Wisconsin Aurora Healthcare Futures Classic (1997), JWA / Anheuser Busch Futures Classic (1998), JWA / Michelob Light Classic (2000), U.S. Open Sectional Qualifier (2001), Thailand Ladies Open (2002), plus Illinois Open (1998 & 2003). Qualified for two LPGA meets as amateur?Chicago Sun-Times Shootout and Rail Classic (1991). Reached semis at U.S. Amateur Public Links (1991) and Illinois State Amateur (1990), plus quarterfinals at Western Amateur (1992). Ruled eight tourneys in four-year NIU career (1988-92). Named Greater Chicago Golf Media Association's Women's Amateur Player of Year (1991), plus Golf Week and Ram Golf College Player of Year (1990). Received NIU NCAA Women of Year award (1991-92). Three-time team MVP (1989-92). Rated among nation's Top 100 players, averaged 78.1 strokes, and won three tourneys as senior. Inducted into NIU Golf Hall of Fame (1992). Berwyn native and LaGrange Nazareth Academy grad.
